Building Tomorrows Community Today

For 24 years, PEACE CDC has been Miami's trusted partner in youth development—transforming lives one child at a time through exceptional afterschool and summer programs. Today, we stand at a defining moment, poised to expand our impact across generations. We invite you to join us in building a comprehensive community resource center that will serve Miami families for decades to come.

Our Story & The Urgent Need

What began in 2001 as a small afterschool program has grown into one of Miami-Dade County's most trusted youth organizations. Today, we serve 210 children daily across three locations with programs achieving an 86% literacy improvement rate and a 93.07% quality rating from The Children's Trust—placing us among the region's elite youth-serving organizations.

Yet Miami families face mounting challenges that demand comprehensive, multi-generational support. Our current facilities limit our ability to serve growing demand, leaving waitlists at all locations. Families struggle to find affordable elderly day care and accessible mental health services. Recent construction has created immediate safety concerns, requiring an urgent $75,000 concrete wall to protect our children's playground.

Construction begins May 2026. More space means more children served, more families supported, and more lives transformed. The time to act is now.

Our Vision: A Multi-Generational Community Hub

In partnership with Esmirna Baptist International Church, PEACE CDC is embarking on a transformational $5.5 million expansion that will create a comprehensive community resource center at our West Kendall campus. Together with Esmirna BIC, we're creating a comprehensive community resource that will serve multiple generations with innovative programming and expanded services.
